One of the wonderful things about Seafield Caravan Park in Seahouses is the nature trail that takes you all around the park ...

23 mile trip to Zaanse Schans

We decided to take a trip out to Zaanse Schans so we hired a bakfiets, put the kids in and set off

A few hours later and with tired legs and numb bums we got home having covered 23 miles / 37 kilometres :D

Newburn Riverside to Wylam

This is a lovely flat ride on shared use paths that includes part of the Keelman's Way and the old Wylam Waggonway that passes George Stephenson's Birthplace (now managed by the National Trust)

Sadly my GPS hadn't been on for so long it look 2/3rds of the way out to find a signal properly!

Along the Tyne

A little ride out along the old railway line that runs by the Tyne in Tyne Riverside Country Park ...
